Hey everyone! Sorry I've been away, but in addition to being a bit under the weather, BIG changes are happening here. The correlation to my renewed journey down the Wiccan path and the good things that are now happening in my life cannot be ignored. But, more on that later.
First, Imbolc! What a celebration. My children and I spent the day getting the house spic and span, and then placed candles on the front and back porches. As the sun set, we light the candles and sang a little song from Anne Hill's "Circle Round and Sing" CD. They absolutely love that CD, and if any of you have children, I highly recommend it.
Later that night when I had some time on my own I had a very quiet ritual. It included some thankfulness, some healing meditation, and a small prosperity ritual. It really was beautiful, and I'm very glad that I took as much time with it as I did. I rushed nothing, did everything very carefully, and just tried to be very "present" in the moment during the whole thing.
So, now we get to the convergence. Lo and Behold, my husband got a call today that he's been hired for a job in Texas that is going to give him a substantial raise. What's more, is they want him to start March 7th. What's more, we found a house in that area that is only $200 more a month than what we're paying now, and is relatively the same size as what we're living in now. Thank you Brighid!
So, if my blog updates are not quite every day for the next few weeks, I hope that you will all bear with me, as I'm trying to pack up a house of 6 people in a very short period of time! I'm still in the meditation portion of Timothy Roderick's book, and I will pick back up where I left off in my next update. Blessed Be!
